Joining the AFM is easy! Download the license application from the Membership Info Page, fill it out and mail it back to the AFM with the appropriate fees.
Allow a minimum of 48 hours following receipt of application for processing. After processing is complete we will e-mail you with instructions on how to proceed with race entry.
Within 10-14 days of your application being processed you will receive race membership packet with AFM sticker, a discounted subscription form for John Ulrich's Roadracing World and Motorcycle Technology, and your AFM license card, for Competition or Reciprocity members, or AFM member card for Associate members and Workers. A hardcopy of the rulebook will only be sent if you request it on your application. A download link to the current rulebook is on the top right corner of every webpage at this site.
A new racer will not receive an AFM license card until they have completed an AFM approved NRS program (New Racer School). Once you are an AFM member you will receive all e-blasts & mailings throughout the year. All Competition & Reciprocity members will have their own myAFM account that will contain your motorcycle info, practice times, race finishes, entry and payment histories.
Current AFM members that need to update their personal information, address, phone, e-mail address can do this in your myAFM account, click on the edit information button found under your name.

Board meetings are typically held the 2nd Wednesday of every month. General Meetings start at 8:00pm.
